One of Oregon's best subjects for landscape photography is undoubtedly Mt Hood. I’ve spent years photographing Mt Hood from all angles and during all seasons. Some of the best photos of Mt Hood can be found at Trillium Lake during sunset, Pittock Mansion at sunrise, and Jonsrud viewpoint, just to name a few. Mt Hood stands proudly as Oregon's tallest mountain and is arguably the most stunning peak in the Cascade Range. Its proximity to Portland has cemented its status as an emblem of skiing, hiking, and breathtaking panoramas visible from all corners of the city.
